Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChoreMatrix (the "Service"), provided by ChoreMatrix ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using the Service.

2. Description of the Service & Planning Disclaimer

ChoreMatrix is a mathematical household workload optimization tool designed to assist households in generating balanced chore allocations and schedule rotations.

Planning Aid Disclaimer: Calculations and schedules generated by ChoreMatrix are advisory estimates based solely on the data and constraints you provide. ChoreMatrix is not a legally binding domestic contract, relationship mediation service, or professional psychological counseling platform.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information regarding your email address for account recovery.
  • You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, harassing, or abusive purpose.
  • You may terminate your account at any time through the Account dashboard.

4. Billing & Merchant of Record

Subscription payment processing and order fulfillment for ChoreMatrix paid tiers (Pro and Plus) are conducted by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments ("Dodo"). Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Dodo handles all payment processing, invoicing, sales tax compliance, billing customer service inquiries, and returns.

5. Intellectual Property

The ChoreMatrix software, proprietary algorithms, design tokens, and branding are the property of ChoreMatrix. You retain ownership of all household content and member details you submit.

6. Service Availability & Changes

We strive for continuous reliability, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify features, introduce improvements, or retire legacy versions with reasonable notice.
